Pale yellow colour with grey/green highlights. The nose is magnificent, powerful and complex; the mixture of wood, yellow fruit and floral notes is very harmonious. The attack on the palate is rich and powerful, with yellow fruits and a present but subtle acidity, and the toasted finish is just perfect.
To be enjoyed as an aperitif with grilled toast and fresh salmon; or with sole meunière.

The 2020 Chablis Les Butteaux ler Cru is 100% matured in used 450-liter barrels. The bouquet is well defined, fresh and nicely focused, starting off slightly nutty, then becoming more floral with great vivacity. The well-balanced palate displays a fine bead of acidity and great salinity. Wild peaches appear toward the irresistible, energetic finish. Superb.
